To HIDXTRA: Wednesday 27 January, 2010 I ordered an HID kit, after 3 days the ballast went bad, you guys sent me a loaner ballast, and told me to ship back the bad ballast out of my cost, which i didn't do due to the fact you sent me a bad part and that i feel i shouldn't have to pay a dime to correct this matter. So HIDsupport RMA closed my ticket. Well I just had another ballast and contact your lack of CSR who told me to submit another RMA it has been days and I have yet to hear anything back. Hopefully you can please help me correct this issue. So far my review of HIDEXTRA is nice bulbs, CHEAP BALLAST that simply don"t work, and Extremely poor costumer service. thank you

I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our product and service. According to your purchase date, you should NOT have to pay for a replacement ballast. Perhaps there was some mis-communication on the "loaner ballast" since it's not our policy to do so. Replacement is yours to keep.

I will send you a PM to get more details on this RMA then start a new ticket to address this issue. We will stay on top of this. Thanks for your understanding!

 

You're not alone SeanJohn. I sent an email to the email address provided regarding the bulbs I got with my hid kit (got 12000k and I ordered 5000k) and have not received a response after more than 24 hours. I doubt they'll ever respond and I won't be buying kits from these people again.

I took these pics yesterday, back to back, on the same road, bulbs fully warmed up. I did NOT get 5000k bulbs from you guys, far from!

 

Quick question, I want to buy this through facebook but I want the slim ballasts, and there is no option to choose those, but there is a note option. How can we go along doing that?

They have a special going on right now right now. They have a slim ballast kit for $61.49, which is a great deal. I bought one, ill post up pictures after installation.

 

I ordered an h7 8000k hid kit on june 18, 2009, order #393, and one of my ballasts went out today. Ive confirmed that its not the bulb by switching the bulbs. This should be covered under the 2 year warranty, right??

 

I got a kit from you guys about a year ago for my tC's low beam, and everything still works great without a single hitch. So thumbs up for that.

Now I'm looking for another kit for my fogs, which are H3. How much will it cost?

Is the new slim matte black ballasts made out of metal or plastic? The picture of the ballasts look like plastic. If so, I'm a little hesitating about their durability. Can you clarify?

 

I'm sorry haven't found the time to return you pm or to this. But heres my info. I ordered an 9006 8000k hid kit on Wednesday 27 January, 2010, order #4264, and the blast has gone out, and in need for a replacement. I know it's a ballast issue due to the fact the the other ballast is still good and both bulbs work on that ballast. thanks.

 

im trying to order the new slim HID kit and its asking me if i need a relay wire?? i dont know!!! lol i had a set from you guys a couple years ago and now its time to get new ones. i have a 05 tc. let me know thankx
