So far I have put about 10k miles and 6 months on the lights w/o any problems whatsoever! Great product.

Cliffud, I was curious if you could still get bare projectors like you had a few months back. I checked the link but did not see any this time around. Thanks in advance and for what it is worth I highly recommend purchase of a kit through cliffud!

You should test them all like your own kits, under water, hammer, etc. to see how they hold up.

jbird - yep, there are 2 types of H4 bulbs available:

1) HID low and halogen high beam.

Pros:
*easy setup since you only have 2 ballasts to mount
* price is $170
* you still get "instant-on" when you hit your high beams

Cons:
* only halogen high beam which doesn't really offer that much lighting compared to the HID lows.

2) HID low and HID high. This setup is literally 2 kits built into one and requires 4 ballasts to run with a massive power harness that powers everything up. Pretty crazy but definitely bright.

Pros:
* bright bright bright - did i mention they're bright?

Cons:
* delayed high beams since the HID highs need to warm up.
* you have to find places for 4 ballasts instead of 2
* very expensive due to the added components... I'll pm you a price.

Nah, it's not worth it. I personally don't believe the kit even compares. Came in a cheesy box with some foam inserts inside. No wire harness, the backs of the ballast was some chintzy thin aluminum plate that my friend's 1-year old could probably bend. I took off the plate and saw the rubberized material inside, yeah- looks "ok" but they certainly wouldn't hold up to the hammer test. I'm not even going to try to hit it with a hammer since the metal case feels like it would just shatter.

I was more impressed with eBay kits going for $80 shipped.

AAG - yes, you should get them by Friday if they go out today. Not sure how Thanksgiving will affect shipping times though.

I went ahead and updated the link - thanks for the heads up.

Default Great Deal!!

Cliff, I would like to thank you publicly for all your help and offering this great deal to the Scion community. I just hope other companies and individuals can learn from a competitor like yourself.

To anyone thinking of purchasing this kit:

Don't hesitate, any questions you have about the kit, or any concerns are answered promptly. I just received my order yesterday, and everything was as said, easy to install and great great product. I would recommend any kit from mobilehid, you have my word this is a great product and it is backed up by a great person that KNOWS customer service.

Thanks again Cliff for all your help, I hope I wasn't a pain in the a$$
