Hi,

I just purchased a 2012 xB about a month ago. Mechanically it is pretty sound. I need to work on a couple door lock actuators, and I've changed the antenna, which pretty much sum up the things that NEEDED to be done.

I found a set of 2016+ WRX wheels with new rubber and put them on after boring out the center to accommodate the extra width of the Scion hub.

I also wanted a rear camera and GPS, so I installed a cheap 10" Hikitay stereo from Amazon. It's been in for a couple weeks now. I need to run the wire for the camera and tap into the steering wheel controls- but it's pumping out music, so I'm at that "meh" stage.

I changed out all the exterior bulbs for LEDs, and have really appreciated those changes- so far. I think the fog lights are the only bulbs i haven't changed out.... yet. Also, in terms of exterior lights, i want to find some of the vertical DRLs. They look pretty nice.

I think I'm gonna change out the wiper controls for the one with the variable controls. That's exactly the kind of mod I like.... It's a really cool budget ride that just needs a few little things to bring it current and make it an enjoyable ride.
