Hey everyone. I'm Dustin. I've been a Toyota fan for a long time. I've had 6 Tacomas from 2009 to 2016. My latest being the 09. Finally got myself out of the oil field and was able to get a car so I went with this 2007 tC I found on FB market place. Paid him $3g and I think I did OK. It runs and drives pretty well but definitely needs few things. Spark plugs and oil were the first to get done this weekend. Next on the list is the clutch rod clevis/bushing. Its flexing and making the pedal act weird. Then lower front control arms, replace electric fan, rotors and pads. I'm going to drive it 25 miles one way each day out to work so when its driving nice and smooth ill do some fun things like exhaust, wheels, and maybe paint. I'm kind of thinking about Plasti dipping it later on.
It has 250,000 miles so its in pretty good shape I think. No smoke out of the tail pipe but ill keep a close watch on the oil level. Oh yea, it needs the VVT gear on the cam replaced at some point as well. Its noisy as hell.
