Yeah, I know this info is in the manual, but im just wondering the average amount of miles you guys had at your first checkup/oil change. I'm at 2490's and just wondering if I should go now, or wait for 3k. Thanks
i believe the manual says every 5000 miles. I would check the level and consistancy around 3000, then decide for yourself.
i found this post cause i was curious myself as to when everyone is changing their's for the first time. I'm only at 250 miles, but still want to know if i should do 3000 or 5000 or somewhere in between.

I did my first at 4177 and I will do the second at 9000+/-.
I figure if they will give me a 100,000 mile power train warranty and I follow the recomended miles there should be no problem.
