20k mileage service
hi,
i just called the local toyota/scion service department and they told me that for the 20k mileage servicing that it'd be about $99.95 for re-tightening the chassis bolts, rotating tires, checking brake pads (front and rear,) and more bolt checking.
Is that a good price or is it not even really needed and they just have this to make money off people?
Their oil change has been running me $39.99 because I've had friends who have gotten their cars serviced at other oil change places and had parts taken out of their car costing them money at their dealerships for replacement parts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks

it is.. for warranty purposes. but the dealerships charge way to much for it. find an ASE certified mechanic and have them do it.. it will save U a lot of $$
do you mean 190 an hour?
I remember I stripped a couple bolts takin out my stock header, I went in there and asked if they could help me out. guy came back and said, "hour and a half, $204" (or something crazy close to that). I laughed at him until I realized he was serious. I left and used my sawzall
