Default air bag light

Any idea as to what could cause my air bag light to start flashing? I went out to my car the other night and wa la it's there blinking red all into my eyes. argh. I check the underseat plugs and everything down there is a-ok.... any guesses as to what caused it?
i know I'm gonna have to go to the dealer but I hate stealerships and with my mods I don't wanna get something totally un-related voided. any help? thanx - Darren

Oh they'll have to open the hood to check out the front air bag sensors , my thoughts are that some rain water got in one of those front sensors , I park all sideways and angled retardedly on my driveway beacuse of lack of space.

They way you park should not make a difference. People pressure wash thier engine bay all the time with no problems. I would check the connections underneath the seat first. you may have knocked something loose, which would cause the light to come on.
