i've tried it and it works OK. You still have to dry the car with a shammy or 100% cotton but it makes it a lot faster. The Auto Dry actually dries roughly 75-80% of the water out of your car without even using a shammy. If you decide to buy one (which i suggest you do) watch your car in the shade or when it's a hot day, wash it when it's about to get dark.

It worked good the first time on my SRT-4, the next time a used it a week later it came out like crap with waterspots all over.
I dont think those filters last that long. It worked good the first time!
But if I have to use a shammy I might as well not waste 20 bucks on that system.
Its a money back guarantee so go for it.
Also if you go on the website they will send you out a $5.00 rebate on it before you buy it ! so I paid like 12.50 for mine.

I have one and it works great ... the filter it comes with is only good for "3" washes ... aka one wash.... the replacement filters last for much longer ... I use a cotton towel on mine about 2hrs after cause the box has lots of places that like to hold onto water and let it go just when it's nice and dry everywhere else... I go around and get rid of all the water streaks etc...

definately a worthwhile buy

I love mine, you don't have to go back & forth to a bucket.

+1 IMO

I got one if someone wants it. I didn't like it, seemed to be bad on the wax, plus it never really was water spot free. Also seemed to leave some weird film sometimes.

Default I like mine!

I got one last week and I have used it twice! So far im happy with it. I do however still dry the car. After I washed it fallowing the directions I rinced it good with the regular rince option and than used the spot free rince JUST LIKE THE DIRECTIONS SAY than I removed most of the water from the car with a california water blade which if any one wants to know also works great! It removes most of the water and you dont have to use the shammy as much! Than I shammy the rest of the water and than wax and clean the windows! The XBox looks great! Oh ya I agree do all washing and waxing in the shade!!!

I use it religiously twice a week, and I love it...

I get the best reuslts by washing it mid-day after 12 noon...I also wash it in the sun, it helps to dry faster...I still use a towel for the door jams and tail gate areas, but other than that it's towel free when I do it, and I get nice results everytime

I would recommend ditching the starter filter though and go straight to a refill cartridge...I got some spots and that waxy film from when I first used it, but as soon as I switched to the replacement filter, that all disappeared...

The way I see it, I spend at least 25 buck with the tip at the hand car wash to get the job done once a week...I can save a lot of money in the long run using the Mr. Clean system...And let's face it...You know us crazy car buffs love our rides, and you know your eyeballing the dude drying your car at the car wash to make sure they're doing a good job on it...I can wash my car myself and have it looking good in under 15 minutes now

I have found that with my water ( either too hard or too soft ) that i dont get the right amount of suds from their soap. I tried using the Mr. Clean soap in a bucket, but it fizzled out half way through the wash. Then i went out on a limb and tried McGuiars Crystal car wash that i had left over. Guess what, it worked. I get the car wet, then use the Mr. Clean soap through the sprayer, then use the McGuiars soap in the bucket to wash. Rinse with regular water, then rinse with the filtered water. I do this at night just before dark, park the xB in the garage over night, and by morning the car is 99% dry. For the most part, it is a spot free dry. I think i can count the dried water spots on one hand, and have had better results using a new filter and the Crystal car wash in a bucket.
