Default BEST Glass Cleaner

Ever want to get that nasty film off of your windshield? You know the kind that doesn't come off with anything? I searched the internet trying to find something that would take it off. I read several things and even bought expensive glass cleaners. Nothing seemed to work.
Maybe someone else has tried this. I took a small spary bottle and mixed equal parts of alcohol and vinegar. It works GREAT! I use it on the outside too.
I know what you are going to say. Vinegar?! Yes it does stink. But, if you do it at night before you go to bed, the smell will be completely gone in the morning. I promise you, it is worth it. Your glass will come out crystal clear inside and out.
My tint guy said it's ok to use on the tint, but is stands a chance of drying it out.
Give it a try and let me know what ya think.

I prefer the commercial stuff we use at the dealership. Works perfect everytime.

Often though, it's not even the liquid you're cleaning with - it's the fabric/towel you're cleaning with.

A good, CLEAN microfiber towel works well. Or, it's been said that many professionals will use newspaper to clean/dry.

Rather then use alcohol and vinegar, Try water and vinegar. This will work almost the same and is much safer for your tint.

For the outside try adding a few drops of goo-be-gone. This will help to get the gunk off the windshield. One warning DONT use goo-be-gone on the tint it is not safe for tint.

I have yet to find anything that works as well as these for no stripes and no haze.

You will also find that the towel you use will make a big differance. Just like ack154 said.

I use NXT's glass cleaner with a waffle weave towel. Flawless finish everytime.

If my windows VERY dirty, I'll start with Klasse AIO, then finish with NXT.
