Default best wax?

Just curious what everyone's opinion is on the best wax to use for your car. I know Zymol and Mequire's are very good, but wanted to see if people have other opinions.

These repeat threads get so old so quick.

I should just put together a collection of cut and paste to
answer the same questions over and over.

Meguiars NXT Tech Wax is awesome. It dries pretty clear so it's easy removal.

I love Zaino brothers myself. All their products have always been top notch. A little pricey perhaps but you get what you pay for.

is there such thing as a wax for black or darker colored cars? I see a lot of black cars that have been waxed and man do they have a lot of swirl marks.

That usually has nothing to do with the wax it's self, but how it's applied and buffed off.

Well, it's not the wax that does that AT ALL, it's how you clean your car.

Unfortunately the worst thing you can do to your paint, is clean it!

But cleaned properly, and waxed properly, will help you avoid swirls.
It's impossible to protect our (cheap) paint from everything, but if you're careful
you can avoid most things.

I love when I drive down the highway and see these nasty machine made swirl
marks on peoples cars. Man, I would be embarrassed to drive around in something
that I ruined like that!!

my last car was black and the paint was horribly faded and w/ swirl marks. i found a Turtle Wax product called, Color Cure. it actually has color it the wax. in my case, black color but there were other colors available as well. it made a HUGE difference.
