Default bleeding brake lines

Does anyone know which order to bleed the brakes for the tc? I'm going to change the lines to SS and get new pads. Any help would be fantastic! :D

Usually you would bleed from the corner that is furthest from the master cylinder to the closest.

On the other hand, we've never encountered an issue from bleeding in the wrong order.

well, as a followup, we bled the lines after putting in SS ones.

i dont know exactly how this ended up sucking so badly, but we did a lot of bleeding over and over to get the pedal to work acceptably again. its still on the weaker side, not nearly as reponsive as i'd like, but they work.

we tried the furthest to closest method first. didn't gain pressure once the car was on though. tried again, sucked again. tried a third time, doing a diagonal pattern: front-l, rear-r, front-r, rear-l. that worked out way better.

im going to try this bleeding business again, just a different way. apparently, you can leave the cap open on the reservoir and open one valve at a time, and just walk away and wait for air to rise up and escape. worth a shot. if it doesnt work, i guess im off to toyota.

by the way, ss lines rock. and so do porterfield pads.

You can't bleed the Tc brakes yourself... You have to take it to a dealership and have them powerbled

I guess its the only way to get all of the air out of the lines... A guy on Clubsciontc.com made his own power brake bleeder. http://www.clubsciontc.com/modules.p...ewtopic&t=3058
I guess all it does is sends pressurized brake fluid in forcing out all of the air in the system.

I put in goodridge ss lines.

I'm pretty sure you can bleed brakes yourself. But I'm really considering taking it in anyway...
