Default Botched touch up paint fix

While washing my car I noticed a door ding on my drivers side. It's not huge, but definately can feel the dent. There was a chunk of paint missing as well, down to the metal. I was panicking about rust, so I had some touch up paint from my Honda (Phantom Grey Pearl, my tC is Flint Mica) and I used it. Guess it was a little old because it was very sticky and then I saw that PGP is way darker than FM.

My Chip Mender in FM is on its way (for future use), but I was wondering if there was any safe and easy way to remove that ugly blob of touch up paint I used so I can fix it with the correct color. I know it was my mistake and I shouldn't have done it, so please post only if you have something helpful or constructive to say instead of "Why did you do that?"

Thanks!

I would try some rubbing alchohol. It usually does the trick for me....

Will rubbing alcohol still work even after the touch up paint has dried?

I use something called.. Touch Up Magic (google it!)

Touch Up Magic and Langka are pretty much the same thing. It works good to remove touch up paint, paint from cars you come in contact with (lol), and even Sharpie marker ink (!!!).
