This has been happening on and off for probably over a year now, but now it happens everytime. Everytime I step on the gas the E-Brake light comes on, and it doesn't go off until i decelerate. Has this happend to anyone else, or does anyone know whats going on? I have a 2005 tc.

 

I started having the same problem a month or 2 ago on my '07, but only when it was cold out in the morning. Never brought it to the dealer since it wasn't a big issue in my book considering the time out of the day it would take.

Oddly enough though, the problem went completely away for me last weekend right after I changed my front brake pads.

 

Your brake pads need to be changed.
