Cant remove road oil from silver paint!!
I purchased some turtle wax bug and tar remover for the bugs and road tar, that works great. But I have some brown spots, VERY light, that looks like soda was spilled on the car. Except the spots wont budge with anything, and seem to be deep in the paint. They are near the tires where oil would get shot up. Can anyone recomend a compound, spray, or anythng to get rid of these marks. Thanks.
It's possible that this is what they call "rail dust". It's a product of these cars riding in train cars across the country. I'm not an expert on these kinds of things, but we get this complaint from customers every now and then. Just take it to the dealership and see what they can do. If it is rail dust, they shouldn't charge you.

I was speaking with someone here at work, they stated that the Tire Wet, if it touches the paint, it will soak in and stain it a light brown????? And you cant get it out!!!!!!!! The spray is Black Magic Tire Wet.
Certain cleaners are really bad for paint, I know that much. I don't know specifically about the one you used on your tires, but I do know that the tire dressing we use in our detail department doesn't affect paint at all (it gets used pretty liberally). I believe we use the Malco brand (but it could be the Car Brite).
Maybe give the company 800# a call and see what they have to say about the situation.

I used to detail cars and it could very well be from the tire wet which can be a real @#$?% pain. There still may be a way to get the lil spots off but you will need to take it to a pro. Then if you still use the tire shine just make sure you wipe off as much of the excess as possible. good luck
take it to a professional. if you havn't been able to clean it yet, you may ruin your car by doing something stupid. take your car to a professional detail place. there is probably one at your dealership.
I would try the WD-40 first. This will not hurt your paint. Shoot it on, let it sit for just a minute, then wipe off. You may have to use a little elbo grease, just make sure you have a clean cloth, as rubbing hard will cause scratches if there is any dirt on the rag. Follow with a soapy solution, rinse, then reapply wax.
If WD-40 doesnt work, then try a clay bar. Follow directions on box.
If this still doesnt work, then you need to take it to the dealerhsip and have them work on it. That is the whole reason for the clear coat, to protect the painted finish underneath.

a product that you may want to check into is Klase All in One cleaner, I think this will be just the thing you need. It is a very light polishing/cleaning product that should take care of most of the surface imperfection. It is really a chemical cleaner that cleans the paint and leaves a little bit of protection, not that much thou, so any sealant or wax should be used afterward. This will leave your paint super smooth, and best of all you can use it on ANYTHING, glass, plastic, wheels, anything that needs a good cleaning. Hope this helped some
