Castrol or Royal Purple

Which should I use the castrol syntec or the royal purple synthetic I have heard both are great but I heard the RP adds horsepower is this true?

I use the RP. That ____ is actually purple! Yup, I'm one of those dip ____s that thinks colored oil is cool.

I'm using the Royal Purple and love it. I also put their manual gear lube in my trans, it definatley made a difference in the shifting.

How many miles should you have on your car before going to synthetic??? I heard that you need to wait for seals and things to seat or something????

from what i've been told after first time you need oil changed its fine... so around 3000 miles I guess...
