Default CD Laser and Disc Repair

Well, I want to "repair" or at least clean several CD's and I also want to clean the laser in my CD player. Anyone have any products that they have used that they would highly recommend? Please only tell of your experience, I know how to find any of those typical products that are out there. Thank you so much!

I can only say that it is a bad idea to use those commercial cd laser lens cleaning discs (those type with the brush embedded in the disc) as they are more likely to damage the laser than clean it. The best way to clean the laser is with distilled H20 and a super soft cloth. This would require taking your radio apart (obviously).

As far as your cds, I have had great luck using Megs PlastiX and you can keep your head/tail lights looking like new with it as well.
