Changing Brake Fluid
How exactly do you change the brake fluid (meaning flush the system and put in all new fluid). Also, when is it recommended to do so??
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
pretty much you bleed the brakes starting at the right rear tire and work you way around left rear, right front and left front as the last
what your doing is bleeding out the dirty old brake fluid with new fluid...
just remember too keep the master cylinder full

I con't recall seeing it reccommended on any car, however I have thought of doing it before. I have pumped quite a bit through the system in order to replenish the supply but have never completedly bled the system.
You can purchase a suction pump for bleeding the system. This would seem to be the easiest way to do this project. Sears has the pump for about $40 as I recall.

I was looking at changing my brake fluid and using this product.

I wanted to know if you are flushing the brake fluid, is the ABS going to be affected at all? Or can I just flush it normally without worrying about the ABS?
Thanks!
