Dash cleaning, R you doing it?

I don't understand why everyone is so blind when it comes to car cleaning products. Armor-All is NOT the only car cleaning product out there. Sure, I talk non-stop about Meguiar's--but, I don't understand the posts where people post several alternatives to 'water and a rag' or 'Armor-All,' and every other reply to the thread is:
"But I'm not sure if I should use Armor-All! I hear it's greasy and it cracks the dash! I'll just have to use water on a rag..."
Is Armor-All the only interior cleaner sold at your local stores, folks?
Mother's makes a good interior product.
THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES TO ARMOR-ALL. REALLY, THERE ARE.

I was told by my salesman to microfiber and H20 the dash. Cleaning products will warp the dash, I've seen it happen on my parents' cars. Water is easier to use anyways...
