Default Dew

Well, here in CA, its getting pretty cilli and night, and my car is starting to dew, note ive only had my car for 8 days, but since im babying it so much, i thought i'd wipe off the dew, i believe this was a bad idea becasue all i left was long streaks of water, will i have water spots in the morning now? and if so what should i do, and for future ref should i never touch my car in the dew and it will just evaporate and leave nothing in the morning?

the streaks you are seing is a combination of water and dust that have been collecting on your car and you did not completely dry off the car.
you can wipe it down...but do not do it when your car is really really dirty and will scratch your car.

I would also recommend meguiars Final Inspection Detailer for the body and use glass cleaner.

dew is going to happen. the best is to leave it alone and wash it on the weekends. wiping it off can cause scratches in the clear coat with the combination of the water and dirt.
