Default Do 19in rims void the warrenty......

Do 19in rims void the warrenty and which warrenty does it void?
I was planning on putting 215/35R19 on my tC but I think I heard someone say that it would void some warrenty. To me I would think that wheels and tires with those specs would be just about the same size as the OEM 17s, maybe at most a few cm bigger (for the 19s). Could it have anything to do with the TRD lowering kit?
If a Scion dealer could explain this it would be great. Thanks.

wtf?? :? where did you hear this from? i doubt that putting after market wheels will void the warranty. but IMO, they should void the warranty if someone put 17" hub cap spinners on the stock tc wheels

TRD sells 19" wheels for tC - so why would any other aftermarket wheel woid warranty? Unless you balance them 1/2ass and the vibration kills bearings or something, but that would go for any size aftermarket wheels.

Any aftermarket part put on the car must be proven to have caused the problem before it can be rejected for warranty coverage.

^^^^ exactly wut he said is tru....

but with any TRD part installed on your vehicle, it falls under TRD's warranty, not Toyota's. TRD has its own warranty from Toyota. its weird and stupid i know, but thats how it works

isn't 215 a bit narrow for 19s?
