The tranny on this car has a lot to be desired. Its def not as smooth as it could be. Granted its nothing remotely close to the tranny on my s2000 but its still nothing clse to my brothers tranny in his 02 civic si. 3rd gear almost never activates without a click and sometimes it even pops when shifting to 2nd.

No real complaints from me though. Im hoping that the OEM MTF is complete junk. Gonna switch to Honda MTF in a few more K miles.

I have had the same problems from 2nd to 3rd but I think it was only a problem once going from 5th to 4th. remember that our trannys are geared low so it could be because of that, or maybe that we are first generation scions. not realy sure, :?
