Default DUST!!!

HEHE, I've been washing my tC every week even though it only has garage dust because I have a feeling that I WILL get swirl marks or scratch marks by just lazily dusting it with MF cloth.

My question is, is it possible to dust the tC without getting any swirls or scratch? What are the dusting products that could take out the "shine robbing" dust without scratching it?

Thanks, detailers here in SL would be awesome help!

I got a question on real scratches (I had a small one about 1.5") that got rubbed with rubbing compound and removed but turned to swirl marks even though its beens clayed, scrath X'ed, polished 2X, and waxed using MF cloths and a P.C.R.O buffer and it's still there when you look really close???

I know this is hard but is it possible to be buffed to normal condition with regular polish?

Thanks, It's OK if it's not possible to be removed.

If used correctly, it will not leave swirls. I have been using it almost everyday for 2 years and there are no swirls in my paint.

Clay only removes gunk on the surface. It will not remove scrathes and the like. You will need a RO to do that.

Quite sure. If you dont "prime" the CAD first by laying it on a few layers of newspaper for a few days, you can leave streaks of the wax that is in the fibers. Also, dont use it when the paint surface is hot or warm otherwise it will leave behind streaks that appear to be fine scratches.

A few tips I can give: never rest the full weight (as little as it is) of the CAD on the paint...just the tips should touch. I also shake (roll handle between your hands) the CAD after EVERY pass to remove any dust. I glide it over the paint in the same direction that air flows over it. Should be obvious, but also keep the CAD in its case when not in use and NEVER set it on the ground or table or whatever....either it touches the inside of the case or it touches the paint ONLY.

^^^That's easy! Simply get bug and tar remover for 3-4bucks, spray it on, wait a minute or two, and wipe it off...

And the next time you wash your car use aircraft grade wax so you won't have much problems with bugs and you just simply hose them off with a garden hose...

Oo Pre, Gago nga ako eh.... ; )
