Full Synthetic Oil - xB Pros and Cons?

I've used nothing but full-synth (what was labeled as such) for the last ~15 years.
As mentioned by Heathen, M1 has been rumored to be a GIII oil, meaning, it's still good, but not worth the $6 a qt price tag.
I switched to GC 0w30 Castrol, and my tC is indeed quieter and runs beautifully.
I've gone from 3k OCIs to 4k.
Use the OEM Toyo filters too - YZZF1.
No disadvantage in using synth on your Box sans cost - if you consider that a negative.
