Does anyone know how much it costs to get the 30K at the dealership? I know it'll be more expensive if i take it to the dealer then a private place. I goto Longo for service

Just because someone does all those other items does not mean it's a requirement for the 30k checkup.
Read the manual - it's pretty basic.

While I do more than what's in the manual, it's not necessary to do all the other things.
I'd change the tranny fluid for sure. but it won't hurt your warranty if you follow the manual.

At Puente Hills Scion (from their website - http://www.puentehillsscion.com/site...ng_service.cfm ), it's $139.95 for the 30k service (TC). But someone on this forum wasn't happy with their service. I think they only do the things in the service manual. Anything else is extra. For the transmission exchange, you could go to a private mechanic. Just bring the fluid and filter.
