Default Glovebox pops open by itself? Rear antenna cover peeling?

Anyone else have their glovebox just pop wide open if you hit a bump or something. It usually happens after I have opened the glovebox recently but I know I shut it at least to the point where it should latch. Than a couple minutes later I could hit a bump and it will fly open. Doesn't seem like it should be doing that.

Also where the radio antenna is on the rear of the roof. That plastic base it has, is the surface of anyone elses sort of look like the surface of the plastic is peeling, it looks sort of like old cars do when the sun eats the clearcoat off of their paint, sort of splotchy.

I've hit some big bumps and I haven't had my glovebox pop open. You may want to check to make sure everything is hinged and locking correctly.

With your antenna...it might be road grime. My antenna base look like plastic was peeling off. But when I waxed my car, I noticed it it was road tar. I used some Scratch X and it came off...

Its definitely not dirt or grime, its is definitely the surface of the plastic is peeling off or was discolored or something from the factory.

I'm not sure how that base comes off, I have a feeling you have to take the headliner and everything off to get it to come off. I tried pulling on it but it seems securely attached to the roof some how.
