06 tC, 5 speed, brake lights do not work. parking lights come on, signals work, everything is functional EXCEPT when i step on the brakes, they do not light up.

only mods i have done is an HID kit and a relay to the headlights to prevent them from coming on when the ignition is off.

fuse is good, unsure if there's a relay. could it be the brake switch?

happened once before a few months ago. i thought i was crazy. they didnt work for like 10 minutes then all of a sudden they started working again.

anyone else ever have this problem? any ideas?

 

yeah check your brake light switch

 

problem solved! the plug that i had disconnected to add on the headlight relay came undone, which included the dome light and headlight circuits as well.
