Jethro->what's this about ammonia turning tint Purple??? I've used reg. glass cleaner for many months now, most have ammonia ala Windex etc., can ya break it down more specifically? UR makin' me nervous, although purple wouldn't be TOO shabby on a BOP.

Yeah, newspaper sounds like bad "news." I tried a MF towel and it seemed to work.

Oh, & how do ya do those "quotes" from other entries, do ya cut/paste using the Quote tab up above? I tried messing w/ it to no avail

 

no cut and paste just do to the one u wanna quote and hit the lil cloud lookin button "reply with a quote" and it will automatically take u to the next page

 

Windex has amonia in it and is very harmful to tint. You ever see and older car with a distictive purple color tint? That comes from a few years of using products containing amonia. It was quite funny. While in the tint shop getting the toaster done a former customer came back and tried to get windows redone under warranty. They were told the warranty was voided because they were using windex. You just never stop learning new stuff. I love it!!!
