How to maintain a showroom shine between shows with no wax
This is my sixth Toyota product and I have learned to trust the Meguiars name when it comes to creating and maintaining a glossy shine.I have a Blue Onyx Pearl xB that is three mos old.I gave it an old fashioned hand wash and dry,one application of Meguiars Quick Detail mist spray.I use the California Duster to keep the dust an pollen off between washes. Now after I wash and rinse it,I leave my scion wet, then I hit it with the Meguiars..at this point its starting to bead up,then dry it off with''The Absorber".These steps here keep my car having that purple or black look at dusk and at night. For an even deeper shine, hit it with the Mac before you soap it down, that way it can be worked in to the clearcoat, then once again after the rinse. This is a visible difference on the dark colored scions. Please note,do this in a shady spot, because extreme sunlight will dry the Mac pretty fast, then youll have a lite haze to take off,and remember, your hood is the hottest part on your vehicle,so do it last to give it a chance to cool down[img][/img]
what's the mac? lol, you mean the meguire mister right? i got a crap load of that stuff, so you're saying just spray it on before i wash then after i rinse the car off and then dry it?

Have you tried Zaino? Supposedly it's not too finicky about hot temperatures, which might be an advantage in the south.
Also believe that Zaino is not a wax as we know it. More of a synthetic polymer polisher/sealer. Therefore it's more durable than normal wax.
