It already started to go towards a yellow tint. It's rainy out today so I'll try to have some pictures up tomorrow!

Yeah, again, mine have started to become yellow (they were naturally yellow being MMW), but I polished again tonight, turned to silver. But I know by tomorrow it'll be yellow/gold again haha.

I have to say...

The amount of time you guys have put into those headers REALLY shows your dedication and devotion to your cars. They lok great! However, for the money you spent on tools and supplies, you could have got them Ceramic Coated for $50-100, not to mention the hours and hours you spent on the labor. The only thing about coating is that the car would be down while the header is shipped out .

They both look good though!

BTW...that MMW header looks ROUGH!!!!!!! I mean it looks great as far as the polishing goes, but the welds and such....yuck! How do I know? I build headers for a living!

PS...Who says the xB peeps hate on the tCs? I'm showin a little love here, right? LOL...j/k guys

^^^I understand. It was just my opinion. They DO look great though. But with Ceramic...no more polishing, yellowing, rusting, buying mothers polish....Once it's done, IT'S DONE!

But you probably consider this a hobby and will continue to polish once or twice a month just for the shear enjoyment of working on your car.

Good job guys!

Thanks for the comments! Yeah it's more of a hobby thing, something people have the opprotunity to do in their own garage without the help of Jethot. Don't get me wrong, I am in love with Jethot, but I love the old fashion work under the hood, heck, I still use all hand tools (cept a auto buffer) for all my mods! haha. Thanks again for the comments!

UPDATE!!!!

1 bad news and one good news:

bad news: its already started to look dirty and it had some rainbow effect ( i think my co worker touched the header there) so after only 2 weeks it had some weird spots on it...........

well even if you dont re-polish your header for few months its should look 5 times better how it was before the polish ( look at my pics:D

the good news is:
once u polished it well then its really easy to repolish it!!!!
no sanding.. nothing just repolish it and its done FAST!!!! i had to touch-up polish it ( only did a few places where it looked "bad" and i polished it for .. 20 minutes?? so a FULL repolish would be like.. 1 hour? its not a big deal.. me and you, everyone could do this every month!!!!

i will upload some suprise pic tomorrow!!

Yeah I will try to take some pictures tomorrow, but bluffing is really quick and I love it how if you don't want the yellow, you can just give it a quick buff. Also, you dont have to wet sand either! Whoo!

Any update pics after the repolish? Does the repolish bring it back to the stainless steel look (i.e. no yellow)?

I will try to post some pictures up later today if i have a chance, but it is yellow. Yellow is still looking good to my eye, because my header came yellow.

if u repolish it.. it will be silver until you drive your car.. so yes.. after u drive your car it will turn to yellow..

to be honest... the header getting dirty again.. well.. i have kaminai wented hood.. so that might be a lil problem but who knows.. maybe not.. but.. bottom line is: even now the header looks 100 times better than how it was!!! even if its fading back a lil bit im VERY happy with the results!!!
