Default How to take dealership tags off?

How can I take those plastic decals off of the back of my car? The ones that advertise the dealership you got the car from...?

just use a hair drier, and a little rubbing alcohol, that'll handle it

Best thing is to tell them to NOT put it on in the first place. LOL
Just peel then use rubbing alcohol for glue residue and follow up with some wax to reseal the area.

I left mine on for a year, finally got around to getting it off, I had to do a minor amount of buffing, I was expecting it to have faded more then it has

Used Goo Gone. Let it sit for a while. Used the plastic scraper with the Goo Gone and bye bye dealer sticker. I was able to remove the vinyl decal on my wife's Passat after being on for 3 years without any difficulties. The dental floss works pretty good on the emblems.
