Default leaking coolant

i just got my car back from toyota-they installed the supercharger on thurs/friday. i picked it up last night, and i was just looking at it today, and i noticed that the coolant tank is basically empty. there's coolant all over the shield underneath the car, but the tank is basically empty. it's right above the "low" line. there's a little bit in the radiator-i can see it when i take off the radiator cap. what can i do until i get the car back to toyota on tuesday? is it ok to just get regular coolant from pep boys?

Not sure if the tC uses the Toyota Long Life Coolant or the Super Long Life Coolant, but either way, I wouldn't recommend mixing it with a store brand. Toyota SLLC is silicate-free phosphate-free and prevents corrosion.

If you're really in a pinch and it's not below freezing out, you could just top off with distilled water. Otherwise, you could top it off with a coolant from the store that's compatible with other coolants, I think Prestone makes one. If I were you and I did that, I'd drain the thing and refill it with the OE coolant.

How far below the is the coolant line is the radiator? Is it just below the upper hose (top hose is loose) or is it past the top hose and/or below the bottom hose (bottom hose is loose)? I'd check that out and make sure the hose is on all the way and that the clamps are tight enough/on all the way.

It's Super Long Life Coolant in the tC. Also everything Soil said above is what you should listen to.

Taking it to a shop and billing your dealership won't work unless you call the dealership first. It sucks, but approach it camly and they will treat you much better.
