Default left wiper doesn't wipe flush with windshield.. help

i took off my wiper a couple of weeks ago and put it back on and i aligned it to the spot on the windshield where it should be. When it wipes, it doesn't wipe flush anymore... usually when the wiper goes it looks like this...

"|" but now when it wipse, on the left hand side it goes like "/" i don't know what is wrong... any help would be appreciated... thanks.

Take it off and reinstall it. Did you happen to bend anything? Could it be upside down/backward?

i took it off an reintalled it again, it just seems like it doesn't want to wipe all the way to the left... argh, this is annoying and i don't know why.
