Yeah, I know how you guys feel about door dings! I work at a Fred Meyer (Owned by Kroger) and I feel bad about leaving my box out of my sight for 9 hours a day! i do however double park in the farthest out spot in the parking lot...but the bottom line is, with my luck, even if I put on this magnetic gaurd thing-someone will still find a way to F up my car!

Looks like you guys are looking for a ding defender that can stay on the car... or not... while driving.

If so, you might want to check out DINGdefenders at http://dingdefender.com

They really work and come in 50+ colors!

It's your car... your doors.
There are millions of dings out there searching for your doors.
We just stop dings from getting on yours

Maybe that's a new category, called a BrING, short for branch ding. I think that'd be more of a scratch than a ding. Dings are usually less that a dime in size and caused by the edge of someone else's door.

Those magnetic things are good for covering the dings.

Yup... cheaper than the body shop and they'll keep you from getting more, too

Unfortunately, it won't guard against sand storms or "mudding" in the desert.
