Default Maintainance Required Signal

Hey guys I have an 08 Tc. I was just wondering if it is normal when I start my car, the maintainance required light flashes for couple seconds then it goes away. Do I need to get this checked out? I just got an oil change so I dont kno what going on. The two lights that flash are my seat belt and the maintainance required signal. So please help me out. Thanks

put your seat belt on lol

and the maintence light basically runs off the odometer, after a certain amount of miles it flashes to let you know its almost time to change your oil, in a few more miles it will stay on.. if you got your oil changed you just need to reset the light

^^Yep, sounds like the tech didnt know to reset your maint light.

With the car off, hold the odometer reset button, turn the key to the accessory position, the odometer will blink with 5 lines, then 4, then 3 and so on. Once there are no more lines you have reset your maint. light. You'll notice the blinking will stop...
