Searched and only came up with like 5 oil threads, my questions is how often should you get certain things checked on, IE belts, fluids etc

I know there's a maintenance schedule that comes with the manual, but I bought mine used and it was missing that booklet.

What got me thinking about this is my girlfriend has a jetta and just had to get her 80k mile service, and im at 39.5, and know that a lot of cars you should do this every 40, but at the same time i know it varies depending on the car

 

hmm, not sure.

(but i have a full 08 tC owners manual with first aid kit all manuals for sale.)

 

after poking around on google for a little bit It looks like its every 30k you need major maintenance
