You can scratch paint with ANY towel if you're not careful.

Definitely don't use a MF towel when dry. I like Mequiars Quik Detailer for touchups.

Also, I thought MF was to be washed in cold water? Mine always come clean in cold water with only detergent.

Well I have noticed the tC paint is a bit on the soft side . I made the fatal mistake of using my finger nail to remove some bug guts off the hood . I used to do this all the time on the Honda . Well when I was done I noticed the bug guts was replaced by scratches in the paint from my finger nail <JAW DROPPED> After that I was paranoid about anyone that brushed against my car or even so much leaned against it . Scratches are gonna be hard to avoid with this paint . The only word of advice I have is keep an eye on it , take it easy when washing it and make sure you use only clean clothes and wash mitts .

But Im ____ed though
Use McGuires cream. Go to a carwash and immediately after, use the cream to buff out scratches with a non abrasive cloth. I've done it and it really works. Waxing is another strategy. It will reduce the appearance of small scratches by filling them in.
