Premium Plan Questions
I purchased my plan back in December 2004 and currently have 22,300 miles on it. I've noticed over the past 2 months that my tint on my back window is starting to either bubble or fade. It's an orangish oval appearing in the middle of the glass. I also have in the middle of my floor mat (driver side) a thinning of the material. It almost has no carpet on it. I was wondering if that is covered and will / should they fix it? My basic idea is that it hasn't even been a year and I have only 22k on it. My carpet is already thinned badly and my stock tint is defecting in the center, shouldn't they replace it? The manager of the dealership I went to is contacting someone else I guess, who will determine if they will help me out or not. What are you takes? Thanks for any feedback.
Oh yeah, and my plan is the extended or premium plan i believe, which covers other parts and oil changes up to 75k

i got mine august of 04, im guessing urs is a 05 model?
bubble? to my knowledge, the glass is smoked, so it has to be fading... and that sucks. ive got about 21k
my floor mat however started thinning in the first few months (cheap carpet material) i took it out to preserve it ...now i have a thick acryilic mat over it.
i most definately think they should replace/fix the glass issue, as for the carpet, i know they'll drop it under "wear and tear"... though highly unsuual considering my 10 year old civic mats actually look 10 yrs old, and teh scion mat looks the same in a matter of months
i have the premium plan too, but i dont think that covers the floor mats.. if it does, pm me pls
~good luck!

I have heard that some people here on SL have been able to get the floor mats replaced for free. I am not sure about the tint, If it was done at the factory then it is between the glass.

it's posted somewhere else in a thread, but the original floor mats are covered under the regular warranty, and scion will replace them once. you will have to trade in all four mats for the new kind of mat. the old ones looked like a knit/berber carpet while the new ones look like traditional car mats and have lasted a lot longer--in my car at least.

Here's a thread I started a while back:

It had pics, but I just erased them.
