Default Problem bleeding brakes

I tried flushing the brakes on my 2005 xA. First time for this car. I have a pressure bleeder with a hand pump. I get the bleeder on the master cylinder and pump it up to about 7 psi. The fronts bleed just fine, but the rears barely trickle, even when the bleeder screw is 3 full turns loose.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there some extra step to deal with the ABS or the clutch system that uses the same reservoir?

somebody just posted a problem with bleeding the brakes on a tc with a new wilwood brake kit.

i think the solution was that the brakes have to be bled with the engine running because the brakes use the vacuum pressure from the engine.

from my past know how you don't need the engine running having the bleeder screw open should be plenty

what your thinking has to deal with the power brake booster

always start from 1: the right rear, 2: left rear, 3: front right, and 4: front left... in that order
