I have a 2012 Scion xD and would like to know if there is anyone that can explain to me how to go about clearing or canceling the "Check Engine" and "Traction Off" lights and erase any codes that are being stored. What do I need to do to RESET these lights so they stop lighting up? I am not talking about the maintenance light for oil changes and etc. I am referring to the Check Engine light that has the small image of an engine and lights up in orange, and the traction off light that also lights up in orange. I am not interested in reading codes, I just want to clear the codes. Can anyone help explain how to do this? Any Scion mechanics on here? Thank you much,
