its probably got tons of fillers that will melt at high temps and the scratch will become visible again. to really get a scratch out you have to level the paint around it. sounds like a gimmick to me.

Check out Meguiar's ScratchX... It doesn't demolish your clear cote, doesn't fill in scratches and make them "invisible" for a while, and I have used it and it works great on little stuff like "swirls"... I followed up the ScratchX application with a coat of the Meguiars Gold Wax. The two products in combination are excellent and give the paint great depth and reflectivity and got rid of most of my "swirls".

No, I don't work for Meguiars but I have waxed my own car for a long time and used to work in the auto mag industry.

The BEST wax I have EVER used was made by a Japanese company by the name of Surluster. They tried the American market for a while and found it hard because the product was so expensive, but OMG was this stuff amazing.

If you have a heavy duty scratch there isn't a product on the planet that can magically fix your paint and I recommend getting profession quotes before you go and demolish your paint further trying to fix the problem.

Hope this was of some help.

Turbo Wax Swirl Remover is highly effective, I found the products abotu 14-15 months ago now, haven't looked back, well maybe to admire the shine on my car.
