I'm doing a lot of research, trying to find an oversized oil filter for my box (if it's worth
the pressure change) and seeing how engineers feel about synthetic oil and oil filters.

Lots of good info out there, and if you Google a lot, and read all the articles you can,
you'll see that a lot of these guys find and think the same way (independently) about
some brands of oil and air filters.

YES!! I use Mobil-1!

 

Yeah, I'm set on using Mobile 1, I'm just trying to find a good
deal on quality oil filters, and it looks like I'm going Mobil 1
oil filters there too. I'm still shopping around.

OK, looking at the list, I see most of those are NOT synthetic
material filters. So you can't simply interchange one for
the other and expect the same quality as the Mobile 1 and
K&N filter...unless there is something I'm missing?

 

depends on which filter your talking about..as an example the Pure One or Amsoil is a higher quality then the Super Tech......they build to spec....However that study on that sight talks about pressure drop which is often overlooked
Myself I use Mobil1 Pure One or Amsoil only but there are other good choices.
