Default strange problems with my xb???

i took my xb out today and im on the freeway and all of a sudden the red temp light turns on to signal im overheating, followed by the trac off light, vsc light, and check engine light. im guessing it has to do with the cooling system, but all those other lights lead me to believe it is an electrical problem. my xb is an 04 and has only 30k miles on it. it was too dark already to start diving into it but ill see if i have time tomorrow. any suggestions on what to look for???

Have you installed any aftermarket bulbs, especially huperwhite bulbs?

My box threw an airbag, vsc, and check engine light when I put in hyperwhite side marker bulbs.

Switched back to amber and no problems. I know it sounds crazy, but that was the only mod I did recently.

yeah, i checked gas cap and i havent done anything to the car, it is 100 percent stock. it was weird, when it was showing the overheating light it would turn itself off when i slowed down to a stop. i think ill start my using a test light and checking some of the relays and fuses.

so i finally got a good look at the car today, and unfortunately it looks like i need a new radiator . i took it around the block to warm it up and then jacked up the car to look under it. while the car is running there is no leaks but as soon as i turn it off, coolant comes out the bottom of the radiator, and not just a slow drip either. so any suggestions on where to get a new one at???

Is it a possible warranty issue? If it might be then I would take it right to the dealer...

if there's a leak, you can put a raw egg into the radiator, and that'll fix the leak.

no joke.

call Scion Cust Exp 1-866-707-2466, your vehicle must only slightly be out of warranty by time. And your mileage is only 30K. Its worth a shot they may be able to offer some assistance.

Here is a link to the first place I found that had them. http://www.partstrain.com/products/S...5~XB--001.html

I found a place that had an Echo ones for under 150 bucks shipped if they are the same. Just goggle scion radiator.

Here is another link for under 160 with possible free shipping

The plastic petcock may have broken also. Have a radiator shop check it out for you if you don't have access to a pressure tester.
