Default Stupid question.....

I'm considering painting my calipers either silver or black with the duplicolor caliper kit. LINK

Now, just to cover all the bases, do you think the dealer could bring up any warranty claims against me if I did decide to paint the metall parts of the caliper?

I cant really think of any issues other than causing heat to dissipate differently with a different color, but even then the effect would be very minimal.

nope. unless you've put the thing back together all wrong and file a claim with the insurance for the brakes or something.

just be careful and you'll be fine. they have to prove you screwed something up

can't think of any reason that painting calipers/drums would cause any warranty issues.

btw...there are no stupid questions, just stupid people who should keep their mouths shut.
