Default ticking when turning

OK im really hoping its not what i think it is. I've had my xB for almost 5 months and im really hoping that my cv axles arent crapping out on me. But im not quite sure if it really is my cv's since sometimes i hear the ticking when im going straight, but mostly when im turning and not all the time on that either. It sounds like its coming from my left front. Im going to go up to the dealership tomorrow, err today (its 12:10 AM here), and see what they say. If they try and blame it on my suspension than im gonna be tearing those people a new one. If that doesnt work than I might be going to my local BMW dealership and getting me a Mini Cooper. Dont get me wrong, I love my box, but if the dealership trys telling me that my modified suspension is the cause and they wont do anything about it, than bye bye box.

I just thought about something, and before i submit this i will say it. Since it ticks sometimes while going straight too, is it possible for it to be my hubcap??? Has this happened to anyone else? and how did you fix it??

Ok i just thought about something else. I just relized that one of my lugnuts might be loose, im going to go check it out and than test drive it to see it that helps, I will post another reply on whether or not that did anything. Im also going to leave my hubcaps off and see if that does anything to.

Ive had my hub caps make that same ticking noise..... Ive also had my CV make the noise. lol. I used to have hydraulics and the fitting on the cylander tore my CV boot and it was the culprit of my ticking.

well i just got back inside from testing and fixing (I hope) my problem. I took my hubcaps off and checked/tightened some of my lugnuts. turns out one of the lugs on the front left hub was pretty loose and I am actually surprised that it didnt completely fall off. But i took it for a test drive and i had no ticking whatsoever. So i hope i did fix my problem.
