my friend told me not to use oil based products since its bad for it.
he said to water based products that doesnt condition your tires.

i use TurboWax tire shine and i love it...it doesnt sling or anything....but it really doesnt matter

i just dont want my tires to crack before its time to change them.

is there a water based shiner thats worth using?

doesn't matter... use what you want.. by the time your tire crack you will be changing them out... unless you keep tires for over 4 yrs...

i dont drive very much. only to school and work. i got my car 8 months ago and i only did 5.5k miles.

tread depth is around 7-8 started at 9 or 10.

anyways i guess u guys are right. so now which product gives the longest shine??
the foam armor all only gives me about 2 weeks before its really gone... but less then a week on my mom's BMW. looks bone dry...

even with that said... if you average 10k a year your tires will last you around 3 to 4 years... now you're on stock tires expect to change those tires out in a year.. they suck

Use this.



Lasts weeks, I haven't found a product that lasts longer. The detailers at an Audi/Bentley/Porsche/LandRover dealer that I worked at used that stuff on all their cars.

same brand and such.
