touch up paint.
okay so I used touch up paint on a rock scratch, and it just made it look worse. If you look at it up close, you can see where it looks like the coat of the touch up paint doesn't match the paint of my car. Does anyone have any ideas of how to even the paint with my car?

First thing is to make sure you shake it very good. You also have to rebuild up the paint that got chipped. You also must clean out the area to be touched up with rubbing alcohol. Clean off the touch up you already used and start over. Carb claener should remove it. Only apply the paint to the scratch and keep adding it till it's level. It shrinks as it dries. Then do a last coat of clear. This is why it didn't match, no clear over top of it.
clear really makes a difference it gives it a true shine...
i didnt know about the rubbing alcohol part does it really make a good difference?
i painted my scratch after coming out of the carwash...
