Default Valucraft oil filters from Autozone

They're probably one of the best bang-for-your-buck oil filters

After all, they do come from Champion Labs, the same oil filter manufacturer for Mobil/STP/AC Delco/Supertech

Valucraft oil filters cost about $2.19/ea from Autozone and are easily available to me

I've read all about the new "e-core" design as well, and I haven't really seen or read any conclusive proof that the new e-core filters are inferior products compared to the more expensive filters out there.

Note: I also like Supertech oil filters, but I can only get them at Wal-Mart, which is a LONG drive from where I live. I'd much rather go to the local Autozone, which is 2 blocks from my house :D

I use Toyota oil filters and don't mess with the cheap stuff.
