Default xA at 50k, what to expect?

Greetings,

I am considering buying a 2005 xA that has 50k miles on it.

Are there any typical repairs/problems that happen at this mileage? Overall, the body and interior are in great shape and it drives nicely. Anything other problems that I should be looking for?

Thanks.

It's in the manual. It should be under "Scheduled Maintainance" or something like that. I think what you should be more interested in is what isn't normal wear and tear. For that, you should really have someone that know's cars go for a test drive with you. Or even better, you should take it to a mechanic that you trust. Ask them to check it out for you. Alot of places will do this kind of stuff for free. Even if they do charge you, it's worth it if they find something that'll cost you way more in the long run.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to take it to a toyota mechanic to check it out. He said it was in excellent shape, well maintained and nothing seemed out of the ordinary for it's mileage. Since then I've decided to purchase the vehicle.

The only thing I have to do to make it perfect is to make sure there are no more paint chips on the hood and put a clearbra on it.
