xB Idle Adjust?
I think my xB idles at about 500rpm. Maybe this is normal, but it seems kind of low and makes starts in first kind of difficult for me. Also kind of vibrates.
So where's the idle adjustment? I don't need to take it to a mechanic.. I did it on my old car (Toyota Van) since it was just a screw on the throttle body. Of course, there was more than one screw so I had to look it up..
Is it similar on an xB?

500 rpm is pretty normal. From your description, if you're driving a manual you need to be giving it more gas when you start -- sounds like you're lugging the engine from babying it too much. If it's an auto, not sure what to tell you then.
Yeah, I think you're alll correct and I'm just not used to a stick. I used to drive one, then stopped for five years, then just picked it up again. It did feel kind of shaky for a while but it's smoothed out a bit since I put it through 1500 miles in four days.
geez man, thats quite a bit for the box. but if you do want to up your idle a bit. there are 2 nuts on the throttle cable by the throttle body. loosen the one thats towards the driver side, then tighten the one on the passenger side (turn it so it moves towards the drivers side). play with it a couple times to get the desired rpm. and make sure the car is warmed up to get a correct idle
Well, 1500 in four days is me driving to boston and back from ann arbor. 750 each way... I bought a car so I can drive it places
I saw something in a TSB about that after I posted this (the throttle body stuff).. I'll give it a shot next time I'm fooling around.
