I am not sayin u r wrong, jus a lil more info might help

I appreciate that you dont want to argue....i got a little jumpy earlier at that comment....but think about this...obviously i cant do numbers(cone of silence due to certain contracts out to BID) but i will give you things that we purchase and i am sure that you can figure numbers around that:

THE LIST (and this is just the tip of the iceberg):
Health Insurance - oh yeah they have it and it covers alot (Big One)
Utlilities for the jails - (Big One) unless you are in AZ in tent city LOL
Staff for the Jails - duh
Computer systems - ie. imate visitation via phones or tv screens monitors, Security systems, ETC...
FOOD - along with all the utensils, trays, staff for commissary, tables chairs etc.
Clothes and Toiletries that are provided...its alot
Janitiorial Services and Supplies
Waste management - Dumpster services
Transportation Services - due to court dates or road clean up or transfer from jails!!
Phone service - for inmates
Equipment and Maintenance on all machines in facility (big one)

This is just a small list of things off the top of my head but seriously it is alot and it is needed yearly...it adds up and it is scary the amount of money spent on imates.....Just think about it!!!
Thanks for listening

Also congrats on the 90%!!!!

^^^ good points. I think where the other side comes from is that not only are those same expenses needed year after year while a prisoner tries for a pardon; but add in all the court/legal fees, and it adds up real quick. Either way it's a shame all that money goes to take care of someone incarcerated, yet there are people on the streets who don't have or get a dime.... didn't mean to sidetrack there.

glad to hear the report went over well.....
